The best time to look for a student property is at the beginning of the year the earlier the better in our opinion. Students who are prepared and start looking early will secure a property that meets there requirements i.e. location and quality of property. Students who look later in the year will most certainly miss out on some of the better properties.

Water will have to be organised with the local water board we will take care of this if you are living in one of our managed properties. If you are in direct contact with your landlord they will be responsible for transferring your names on to the bill. On the day you move in to your property meter readings will have to be provided. If you are on a joint tenancy agreement and you wish to have a TV in the property, you will only need one licence which can be ordered online by following the link below.
Students are exempt from local authority council tax. In order to be exempt all students residing in the property will have to provide the council with there student I.D to prove that they a fulltime student.
If you are living in one of our managed properties we will be responsible for any repairs, maintenance and emergencies we have a dedicated 24hr emergency line for out of hours emergencies. All problems will be resolved as quickly as possible. If you are in direct contact with your landlord you will need to put any repair issues in writing to your Landlord and make sure that any problems are dealt with promptly.
We advise that you keep your property clean & tidy and share the workload between the group. You will be responsible for cleaning kitchens bathrooms communal areas and your own rooms. Also gardens will need to be maintained tools and vacuum cleaners will be provided by the landlord. For students that don't want the responsibility of household cleaning. We can organise a cleaning package via our preferred cleaning contractor BE Fresh cleaning services. Its best practice to maintain your property throughout the course of your tenancy to avoid a large industrial clean at the end of your tenancy and fees being deducted from your deposit.
