Home Let Tenants Insurance is a specialist policy which will cover your belongings for loss accidental damage and theft. The other benefits of this policy is that your Landlords furnishings, fixtures and fittings will also be covered for up to £2,500 which means that if you accidently damaged something in the property you could claim to put it right which safeguards you against any unexpected bills or the possibility of losing your deposit to put the damage right.

Cover includes:

• Accidental damage to TV, audio, video and DVD equipment, and personal computer equipment
• Contents in your garden - £200
• Replacement of locks following theft of keys - £250
• Contents in your garage and outbuildings - £500
• Frozen food - £250
• Money and credit cards £100 each
• Pedal Cycles up to £200 each
• Valuables like jewellery covered up to 33% of sum insured
• Cost of alternative accommodation - 30% of sum insured
• Personal Liability £1,000,000
• Accidental damage to your Landlords contents, building, fixtures and fittings up to £2,500
• Our policy covers your contents for loss or damage caused by:
  Fire, Lightning explosion, earthquake, storm or flood
  Escape of water
  Collision by aircraft, vehicles or animals
  Malicious act or riot
  Theft by forcible means
  Pedal cycle cover
  If you have pedal cycles worth over £200 each, then this additional option covers you against theft anywhere in the world. However if your cycle is left unattended and unsecured it will not be covered under this policy.

Specified Possessions Cover

• This level of cover is specifically designed to protect your high-value personal possessions, anywhere in the world, provided they are not insured in another insurance policy.
• Valuations are required for some items valued over £2,500 and there may be restrictions that apply to certain items. Full details can be found in the policy wording.
• If you wish to insure an item for more than £5,000 please speak to one of our advisors.
• Accidental loss or damage to your personal possessions
• Protection against accidental loss or damage to your everyday personal possessions anywhere in the world, up to your chosen limit.
• The total maximum you can insure your personal possessions against accidental loss or damage for, is £4,000. In addition to this, the maximum limit for any one single item is limited to 25% of the total cover level you choose.
