We make it easy at Tenant Network to find a property that is suitable for you. Contact us either by registering using one of our online contact forms or by calling us on 02392 29 33 00.
We will ask you to inform us what type of property you require, the area you want to live and the maximum rental you can afford. We will then log your details in to our database and search for properties that fit your requirements.
If there are any properties on our website that you would like to view we will make arrangements at a time convenient to you, including evenings and weekends. A member of our staff will accompany you and will be able to answer any questions you may have.
When you have chosen a property you will need to reserve it by paying a holding deposit. The property will then be taken off the market whilst we carry out the relevant reference checks. If the tenancy goes ahead this deposit will be deducted from the monies due before you move in.
If for any reason the landlord declines your tenancy your deposit will be refunded in full. However if you decide not to proceed or if you fail to provide full and accurate information in your application your deposit will be retained.
We require satisfactory references from:
We may also require a guarantor in some circumstances. In addition we will carry out a credit check.
Unless stated otherwise, rents will be quoted calendar monthly and payable in advance. The tenant is usually responsible for council tax, water rates, gas, electricity and telephone bills. Your rent is payable by bank standing order.
You must pay a security deposit equal to 1.5 months rent which will be held in the TDS for the duration of your tenancy. A deposit is held in order to cover property damage, breakages and any other outstanding liabilities if they occur. You may not use this deposit to cover outstanding rent under any circumstances.
We charge a fee to cover administrative and referencing costs, the fee varies and is dependant on property type. There is also a £50 fee for every additional adult that wishes to move into a property.
